Casey the Alien
March 9 - May 28, 1990    (4 Disc set)

Undoubtedly one of the most bizarre storylines ever in daytime! This edit begins with Anna losing Duke (AKA Johnathan Paget) after he is shot by Julian. Robin uses her newfound crystal to help her deal with Duke's loss, which of course, summons Casey to appear and take human form. Straight from planet Lumina, this kind alien only wants to retrieve his crystal and take it home with him to prevent mankind from abusing it's power and destroying themselves. I have included all scenes involving Faison and Anna's past in the DVX, which plays a major role in Casey's story, as well as Sean covering up his past betrayl.

DISC 1:   March 13 - April 13, 1990  4 hours

Anna loses Duke, Robin finds a crystal, Casey arrives, Faison searches for the crystal, Robin finds out that Casey is from another world, Casey is drawn to Spoon Island, Anna throws the crystal away.

On Spoon Island, Robin is on a school field trip with her friend Rowdy when she finds a strange piece of glass that looks like part of a crystal . . .

There is a party at the Lavery house. Robin shows off her crystal to everyone, including Tiffany, who interviews her for a news segment.

Duke arrives at Anna's wearing an overcoat (to hide his gun shot wound). He tells her Julian wont bother her anymore and collapses in her arms. Anna tries to get help for Duke but he insists it's too late. He just wants to be with her every second he has left. Anna cries as he dies in her arms just as Robert shows up.

Anna tearfully tells Robin that Duke died. Everyone returns to Anna's house in the wake of Duke's death. Anna is devastated. Robin consoles herself by clutching her crystal. Anna tucks Robin into bed and offers to stay with her. Robin says she'll be fine -- as long as she has her crystal. When Anna turns off the lights, the crystal begins to glow. In the meantime in some other part of the world, we see an Asian woman named Desiree report to -- Faison (!) that she has found the "little girl"who has the other piece of their crystal. Her name is Robin and she's from Port Charles. Faison gives Desiree a new mission. Find Frisco in Europe.

Robin and Anna move some boxes to the garage. They are about to leave for Scotland to scatter Duke's ashes. Robin has changed her mind. She wants to stay in Port Charles rather than go with. Anna nods that it's okay if that's what she wants. Robin hugs her. She'll be okay. Besides, she has her crystal. They to go Katherine's townhouse for their goodbyes. Tom and Katherine promise to look in on Robin. Lots of hugs and kisses as Robert and Anna leave. Later, Tom and Katherine tuck Robin in on a stormy night. When the lights go out, Robin's crystal begins to glow again, and something very strange happens in the garage just outside Robin’s room, as a glowing light morphs into the form a human.

In the morning, Robin is still asleep when the alien approaches her window to get the crystal, but as soon as he touches the glass, the alarm sounds. Robin yells for Olin. There's a prowler outside! Tom goes to check it out, but finds no one. A repair man is called. The alien hides in the garage while they look at the control box for the alarm system. When they leave, the repairman leaves his jumpsuit behind, which the alien puts on. Later, Robin and Olin return to the garage and mistake him for the repair man. Olin hands him a screwdriver and tells him to fix the alarm system. He does so not with tools, but by holding his hand over the box with lights coming out of his fingertips (cool!). Robin asks him his name. He reads the repairman's name off some paperwork: Casey Rogers. They go inside the house, and Robin talks to Anna on the phone, telling her about he nice repair man who fixed the alarm. When Robin shows Casey her crystal, she can see that he knows something about it. She wants to talk to him about it, but has to go to school, so she invites him to come to dinner later.

Bobbie, Tom and Rowdy arrive for dinner along with Casey. Casey doesn't understand the concept of meat, so all he eats is an apple. Everyone notices how strange Casey is, but they think he is just slow. After dinner, Robin sees Casey sneak back into the garage. She comes to see him later, thinking he is homeless. She tells him he can stay there. She wont tell anyone.

The next morning, Robin brings Casey some more apples and hides him when Katherine comes looking for her. Casey has a tummy ache, so Robin brings him back something to make him feel better. She wants to stay longer, but has to finish her algebra homework. Casey sees that her face looks strange -- a "worry face." She's worried about finishing her homework on time. Casey helps her with her with it, miraculously finishing the whole page in just a moment's time. He tells her how to use the crystal to help her with the rest of her schoolwork. Robin returns later to tell him that she aced her test, thanks to him. It's dinner time again. Katherine comes over along with Tom. Robin tells him how she did good on her test. She credits it all to the crystal, which concerns everyone. They tell her it wasn't the crystal that got an A, it was her. Later, Robin sneaks food to Casey in the garage. She asks him if he's okay, because he appears to be sick again. "I seem to tremble,"he tells her. Robin tells him he's cold and finds a coat for him. She tells him he can stay as long as he wants. She likes having him here.

Robin lets Casey in the house before she leaves for school. He asks her where she got the crystal. She tells him Spoon Island. Casey tells her he must go there. Robin promises to take him as soon as she gets home from school. Casey watches TV while he's there alone. Robin calls home to check on him. Casey answers by shinning his magical finger lights on the phone. When Olin returns home, she finds Casey "reading"on the couch. Actually, he is holding books up to his head, "scanning"them. She demands to know that he's going in the house and starts to call the cops, but Robin returns home and tells Olin that she let him this morning. It's okay. Olin apologizes by pouring him a cup of coffee. He tells her "Thanks hun!"and kisses her like on the TV commercials. Olin shakes her head. He's one strange dude!

Tony and Bobbie visit Robin with the news that Frisco and Felicia are returning soon. They invite Robin to dinner, and Casey too. At the Brownstone, Casey sees the kids and stares in wonder. These people are so little! Robin runs to take a call from Robert in Scotland. Meanwhile, Casey calms Lucas's crying, much to Bobbie's surprise. Robin walks into the living room and sees Casey floating BJ's toys in mid-air. When Bobbie and Tony walk in, little BJ yells that her toys were really flying! After returning to the garage, Robin asks Casey how he did that. He demonstrates by holding the crystal, which glows in his hand. Robin can clearly see that Casey is not of this world.

Faison and Desiree move into Wyndamire. Faison instructs his manservant, Jacques, to install state of the art surveillance on the island. They need to begin searching for the rest of the fragments of the crystal.

Casey comes to Robin's window and she lets him in. She hasn't been able to sleep since he made her crystal glow. Where is he from? Casey tells her he is from a planet called "Lumina". He explains why it is important for him to get to Spoon Island. He needs to look for the rest of the crystal, because the crystal means life. It's how he gets energy. Robin promises to find a way to get him to Spoon Island, but tells him to wait until she gets home. Casey doesn't wait. He goes to Kelly's to find a way to get himself over to Spoon Island. Ruby sends him to Mac' Marine, where he tries to steal a boat, but is chased off by Colton.

Frisco and Felicia are kissing outside the Brownstone when Robin runs by in a mad dash. Frisco gets her to slow down. Where is she going in such a hurry? Robin suggest they all have lunch together. At Kelly's, Robin seems very distracted, but no one seems to notice. When Colton runs in looking for a derelict who tried to steal a boat from the marina, Frisco offers to help him find the perp and they leave together. Robin knows it's Casey. She tells Ruby she doesn't feel good. Could she have a ride home?

Robin finds Casey in the garage and tells him she shouldn't have gone off by himself. Casey can sense more of the crystal on the island. He must find it right away. He asks for Robin's crystal because he needs energy. Robin watches wide-eyed as Casey glows blue as he feeds off the crystal. Afterwards, Robin gets an idea: Larry Ashton has a boat. He might be able to take them to the island!

Robin takes Casey down to the waterfront and hides him there while she goes to find Lord Ashton. Unfortunately, she is spotted by Jacques. When Ashton arrives, she asks him if he would take her and her "science teacher" Mr. Rogers to Spoon Island. He agrees but not till Friday, since his yacht is under repair. After he leaves, Robin tells Casey he'll have to wait. Tom walks by, so Casey hides while Robin talks to him. Afterwards, Robin takes Casey to the library do some research. She wants him to read up on science so that they can pass him off as a science teacher. Robin finds out that Casey reads by scanning. When Robin goes off to check out her books, Casey "scans" a book on sex, then tucks it under his jacket. Unknown to Robin, Jacques gets her address off of her library card.

Robin takes Casey to Robert's cottage to barrow some of her dad's clothes for him. They hide when Robert returns home unexpectedly. Casey makes the alarm system go off so they can sneak out. Robin returns home and hugs Anna, greeting her home. Frisco is also there. They both want to hear about her crystal, but Robin tells them she doesn't need it anymore and steers the conversation away from herself. Later, Robin needs a reason to go out to the garage, so she tells Anna she's writing a paper on what she wants to be when she grows up. May she look at Anna's case files? She want to be a PI, maybe even join the WSB. Anna says NO! But Robert tells her to relax. Robin's not exactly joining the bureau just yet.

Anna has a flashback of meeting Faison for the first time. Afterwards, Robin and Anna join Frisco, Felicia, Robert, Katherine, Sean and Tiffany at Duke's. Anna is preoccupied, which Robert notices. Frisco and Katherine sing while Anna flashbacks to her days with Faison in the DVX. Later, Sean accompanies Anna home, where she admits she can't stop thinking about Faison and the fact that she betrayed her country by working as a double agent. Sean tells Anna to forget about Faison. The man is dead!

Robin goes out to the garage to look for Casey. Anna finds her there and holds up a book. What is this doing here? It's Casey's sex book. Robin has no choice but to pretend it's hers as Anna awkwardly lectures her. Afterwards, the girls go to the beauty salon, where the other ladies are talking about the famous author PK Sinclair and his favorite heroine, the one he uses in all his books. Anna thinks it sounds very familiar to her own past. Later on the docks, Robin runs into Rowdy, who wants to hang out. Robin tells him she can't right now. She's involved in something important and can't talk about it -- but she'll tell him as soon as she can. Annoyed, Rowdy moves off as Ashton walks up. He is there to take her to Spoon Island as promised. But where is her science teacher?

Meanwhile, Faison orders Jacques to find out who the little girl with the crystal is. He later discovers that Anna is her mother. It's the woman of his dreams . . . Anna Devane, his inspiration!

Rowdy ends up running into Anna, who is wondering where Robin is. She goes to the docks and finds out that Robin went to Spoon Island. She charters a boat to follow her there. In the meantime, Robin arrives on Spoon Island and finds Casey. They start searching for the other parts of the crystal. Anna arrives on Spoon Island looking for Robin and knocks on the door at Wyndamire. A bodyguard lets her in and she waits in the foyer, noticing a cigar in the ash tray. Faison sees her from the stairs. Anna!

At Wyndamire, Anna almost sees Faison. Desiree walks in and tells Anna that she is living there with her servants. Anna asks about the cigar. Desiree blames it on the bodyguard. After Anna walks out, Faison comes down and swoons over Anna. She's just as clever as she always was. Meanwhile, Casey hides as Anna finds Robin and demands to know what she's doing on Spoon Island. Robin claims she was just "looking around." Anna chastises her and starts to march her out of there. Robin tries to leave the crystal behind for Casey, but Desiree picks it up. Anna insists on taking it with them so that Robin doesn't have an excuse to come back looking for it. Casey watches as they leave. On the docks, Anna is furious with Robin. They fight about the crystal, which Anna calls a stupid piece of glass. Angry, she throws it away and drags Robin home. When they arrive, Anna tells Robin she's grounded. Casey comes to the back door. Robin lets him in and tells him she doesn't have the crystal, but she tells him where it is. He needs to go get it right away! Meanwhile, Sadie the homeless lady fishes the crystal out of the trash. This ought to be worth a few bucks!

On the docks, Casey searches for the crystal but runs into a cop.

Meanwhile, Rowdy goes to Kelly's for a chilly dog and sees Sadie the homeless lady with the crystal. He tries to get it back from her, but gets thrown out. Paranoid, Sadie decides to hide the crystal in the ice box behind the counter for safe-keeping. In the meantime, Rowdy returns to school where he tells Robin he spotted the crystal at Kelly's. Sadie the bag lady wouldn't give it back! Robin tells him to go back there and get it from her, no matter what. Casey needs it.

Rowdy returns to Kelly's and tries to get the crystal from Sadie, but she wont tell him where she's hidden it.

Meanwhile on the docks, Frisco and Felicia run into Anna, who's worried about Robin. She tells them that Robin has been rebellious and disobedient of late. Anna accompanies them back to the Brownstone, where they arrive to find that Lucas is sick, which has Bobbie and Tony worried. Anna calls home and finds out that there is trouble at home with her security system. Tony mentions that he met the repair man, Casey Rogers, who seemed very odd, and never followed up on the work he was supposed to do on the Brownstone. Anna smells a rat. She decides to run home and check it out. Frisco offers to go with her. When they arrive, Anna questions Robin about the man with the security company who no one knows anything about. Robin seems very tight-lipped and the subject, so Frisco jumps in, offering to take Robin out for ice cream at Kelly's.

Casey walks into Kelly's, sensing the crystal. He spots it in the ice box behind the counter, but before he can retrieve it, Tony walks in and tells him Anna wants to see him. Alarmed, Casey bolts. Tony follows him.

In the meantime, Frisco and Robin arrives on the docks, where Frisco gently pumps Robin for any info she can give him on this Casey Rogers guy. Robin tells him the same thing she told her mom: no one needs to worry about it. There's nothing to worry about. Tony meets up with them, looking for Casey. The guy bolted from Kelly's! Frisco runs off with Tony to look for Casey. While they are gone, Casey crawls out of hiding to ask Robin for help. The crystal is at Kelly's -- in a box! Robin frowns. A box? Later, Robin searches Kelly's, but can't find a box or a crystal. Unfortunately, the lab technician Tony is having dinner with does --- in a manner of speaking. He inadvertently scoops the crystal (which was hidden in the ICE BOX) into his portable cooler, which holds all of his blood samples.

Meanwhile, Casey stumbles around on the docks, growing weaker by the moment. He makes his way to Spoon Island and sneaks past the security camera, entering Wyndamire. Desiree spots him and demands to know what he's doing there. Casey collapses on the floor, and Desiree instructs the bodyguard to take him off the island. Faison must not know about this.

DISC 2:   April 13 - April 27, 1990  4 hours

Casey grows weak, Robin brings Casey the crystal, Anna and Frisco find out who Casey really is, Anna keeps Robert in the dark, Anna comes face to face with Faison, Feds close in on Casey.

Robin is at home, grounded and unable to go look for Casey. She begs Rowdy to find him for her. Rowdy finds Casey in the catacombs. He is very weak, but determined to get to Spoon Island. He goes up to the marina and tries to hire a boat to take him there, trading the only thing he finds in his pocket in lieu of cash. The problem is, it turns out to be Robert's badge. The boat owner gets suspicious and calls the cops, so Casey takes off. In the meantime, Robin sneaks out of the house to find Casey.

Robin finds Casey on the docks. He's very weak and in need of his crystal. Robin decides to hide him in the catacombs. Meanwhile, Rowdy calls Anna and tells her where Robin is. When Anna arrives, Robin is beside herself with worry and begging Anna to help Casey. Anna leaves to call an ambulance. Casey is brought to the ER a short time later. Anna tries to console Robin while she yells that she has to stay with him! He's scared, and he just wants to go home!

At GH, Robin, Anna, Sean, Frisco and Felicia wait in the ER. Everyone tries to understand Robin's rambling about how Casey needs her and she's the only one who can help him. In the meantime, Alan and Harrison scratch their heads as they examine Casey. It appears that a healthy man of no more than 30 years seems to be dying of old age. Casey, who is barely conscious, hears Alan and Bobbie discuss some kind of strange problem in the lab -- something very much like a magnetic field that is screwing up all their tests. When Robin gets a chance, she sneaks into the exam room to see Casey. Very weak, Casey tells her that he can feel the crystal's presence. It's somewhere in the hospital -- someplace called "lab." Robin nods and heads off.

In the lab, some orderlies carry out trash bags full of garbage just as Robin enters. She begins frantically looking for the crystal, and when Robert and Anna arrive, they have to physically drag her out of the room. She gets so shook up they have to have her sedated. In her sleep, Robin mumbles about the crystal. They all think she's still obsessed with that hunk of rock. In the meantime, an orderly (who, by the way, strangely resembles the Quartermaine butler "Reggie"), gives Amy the crystal as a lame attempt to come on to her.

When Robin wakes up, she sneaks out of her room to see Casey, who is near death. She promises him she'll find his crystal. She wont let him die! Anna comes to find her and drags her back to her room, where she tries to get the truth out of her once and for all. Who is Casey, and what's up with this crystal? Robin tells her that Casey needs the crystal just like they need air and food. And by the way, Casey is not from Earth; he's from a planet so far away it cannot be seen by telescope. The name of the planet is Lumina! Anna freezes when Robin utters the word Lumina. What does she know about Lumina? Robin tells her Casey must get the crystal. He's just trying to go home. As soon as she gets a chance, Robin sneaks out of her room again and resumes searching for the crystal. At the same time, the crystal changes hands yet again when Amy gives it to a lady in the cafeteria. Luckily, Robin finds out about this and heads for the cafeteria, where she lifts the crystal without anyone seeing her. Then she heads back to Casey's room and gives it to him. Casey mumbles that it's too late . . .

In the meantime, a worried Anna calls Frisco to GH to discuss all the new developments with him. When they discover that Robin is missing, they find her in Casey's room -- where Casey is glowing brilliant shade of blue as he draws energy from the crystal!

Stunned, Frisco and Anna and pull Robin away from Casey, who is glowing in blue. Frisco demands the crystal. Hand it over, Blue Boy! Amazingly, as soon as Frisco grabs the crystal, Casey immediately stops glowing. Frisco is livid, thinking it is a trick of some kind, but Anna wants to hear Robin out. When Meg comes to the door, Anna sends her away, with a little help from Casey, who imitates Alan's voice. Even after that, Frisco is still a non-believer, but Anna is willing to hear Casey out. Not only that, she wants to get him out of the hospital and cover up what happened, otherwise, they'll never get the truth. Frisco reluctantly agrees to help. He and Casey dress as doctors and sneak past the nurses station.

When they arrive at Anna's place, Anna and Frisco manage to get Casey to spill it about where he is from and what he wants. It's really quite simple: he has been sent to Earth from Lumina in order to retrieve all pieces of the crystal, which could potentially destroy the world if they fall into the wrong hands. Anna eyes this strange man and then looks at Frisco. Could they really be in the same room with a being from another world? When Robert arrives, Casey hides and Anna and Frisco play dumb about Casey's disappearance from GH.

In the morning, Anna apologizes to Casey that he had to spend the night in the garage. She offers him coffee, but Casey shakes his head. Coffee contains caffeine, which is damaging to the interior organs. Anna nods. Okay then. Olin walks in and Anna must explain to her who Casey is what he's doing there. Anna orders Casey not to go to Spoon Island. He must wait here. Casey relates that he did not feel the pull of the crystal until long after he met Robin. That's means that part of the crystal must have arrived there later. While they are talking, there's a knock at the door. Frisco bursts in and yells for Casey to hide, because Sean is coming in after him. Olin keeps Casey hidden in the kitchen while Anna and Frisco play dumb with Sean about Casey Rogers. After Sean leaves, Anna and Frisco immediately make plans to head to Spoon Island. Casey insists on coming along, but Frisco says no way. Let the American's handle it, pal. Casey, however, proves his worth by showing Frisco how to get past the security around the island. Casey also reminds Frisco about the dogs out there. Frisco sighs. He'll think of something, okay? Next, Frisco makes a quick trip to the pet store to get something to subdue the dogs. Unfortunately, Felicia walks in, having spotted his car outside…What is he doing in the pet store? Frisco thinks fast and tells her he was looking for a pet -- as a surprise for Robin.

Anna and Casey talk in Robin's room. Anna tries to explain love to Casey and uses an example: his people sent him to prevent the human race from destruction. That's like love. Casey points out the contrast between love and fear -- one fights the other. That is why he must get the crystal before the people on Spoon Island do. They do not know love . . .

In the meantime, Sean goes to see Faison and slams his most recent book down on the desk. What is he trying to do, get them both killed? Obviously, his heroine, Daphne, is Anna Devane. What if Anna ever reads this book? Faison downplays him. Why should Anna need to read about excitement and adventure when she's lived the real thing? Sean tells him he'll sell him the Wellington Collection, but only in exchange to know what he is planning.

Meanwhile, Frisco takes a boat to Spoon Island, but doesn't have much luck, stopped by an electrified fence. He climbs a tree to get over the fence, but has trouble with dogs on the other side. Unfortunately, the whistle he bought at the pet store has little effect. Frisco is forced to run when the barking dogs arouse the guards, but not before he gets a look at the occupant of Wyndamire, a man with long hair puffing on a slender cigar.

Meanwhile at Anna's house, Anna and Casey talk about human nature. Casey wonders why she and Frisco are helping him. She tells him that when you care about someone you help them. Casey learns what love means, and adds that the people on the island must not have the crystal -- because they do not know love. Later, Felicia hangs out with Anna and Robin as they gently try to get her to leave. After a while, Felicia realizes Frisco is not coming back anytime soon, so she goes home to wait for him. Robin eagerly walks her to the door as Olin tells Anna she's needed out in the garage. In the garage, Anna finds that Frisco has returned, and is not too pleased that Casey was right about the island. When Frisco mentions seeing that creepy cigar-smoker at Wyndamire, Anna seems to brush him off. Frisco asks her why she's shutting him out when she begged him for his help.

In his secret room, Sean searches for info on the Wellington Dog. Tiffany comes in and wonders why he has taken the dog out of the collection. Sean quells her suspicion by telling her that he thinks it may be a forgery. Later, Sean goes to see Anna, who asks for his help in finding out if Faison is really dead. Sean tries to get her to drop it, but eventually offers to go to Washington and do some digging. He asks her not to tell Robert, and to stay away from Spoon Island. She agrees. Back in the secret room, Sean deletes all the background info on Desiree. Tiffany comes in and wants to know why Sean is going to Washington. What is he into? Of course, Sean doesn't tell her anything.

At the Lavery house, Anna tells Casey that Bobbie's son is very sick. Casey senses that she want to go to GH to lend her support. Anna nods, but promises that she'll be back to take him to Spoon Island later. She makes him promise to stay in the house. Olin is looking all over the house for her book, "The Alpine Express." She mentions that it's about two spies on opposite sides of the fence, and she needs to know how it ends! Anna can't help but notice the similarity in the story -- it's her and Faison. At GH, Anna checks in with Tony to see about Lucas. Frisco arrives. When they get a private moment, Frisco pulls her aside and tells her he'll back to her house soon to help with Casey. When Anna changes the subject, Frisco gets the feeling she's shutting him out, especially when she starts asking him questions about the man on the island, but wont tell him why. What's going on, Anna? She tells him not to worry about it. She doesn't want him to have to lie to Felicia. As soon as they finish talking, Anna rushes out to buy P.K. Sinclair's latest novel -- running to Felicia at the drugstore. Felicia is right in the middle of buying a home pregnancy test. (!) She quickly hides the bag and comes up with a reason for being in the drugstore, as Anna does likewise.

At Sean's Penthouse, Robert does some snooping and gets the case number of the air force file Sean was looking at on his computer. Later, Anna returns home and finds Robert there waiting for her. He has questions about what's going on out at Spoon Island. Is there any chance she's talking to Sean about it and leaving him out of the loop? Anna stutters, but Robert tells her never mind and kisses her. Then he leaves. Anna pulls out her book and starts reading. Casey comes in and asks her why she lies to Robert when it bothers her so much. Anna shrugs. Sometimes it's necessary to lie to people to protect them.

Sean calls Anna from Washington and tells her get Faison out of her head because all the WSB records confirm that he's dead. After he hangs up the phone, we learn that he's in New York, not Washington. He is trying to find out who set him up with the Wellington Collection. He also has the Chinese Dog inspected by an expert, who notices that the tail section seems to be have been reworked at some point.

Back at Anna's house, she's enthralled as she reads PK Sinclair's book. She has a flashback of her and Faison in Paris. The story in the book matches her past to a tee. Smelling a rat, she packs a gun and tells Casey she's going to Spoon Island alone.

Anna arrives on Spoon Island. Faison sees her on his surveillance cameras and allows her to enter the house. Anna sees him and points her gun at him. She thought he was dead! She sees a copy of "The Alpine Express"on his desk. That book is about her, isn't it? Doesn't she realize he could get her killed!? Faison promises to keep her secret and hands her glass, offering a toast to their partnership. She breaks the glass and tells him she doesn't make deals with the devil anymore. She storms out.

On the docks, Anna runs into Robert as she's returning from Spoon Island. Naturally, Robert assumes that she went out to the island. Anna denies it. She just took a boat ride in the moonlight. Either he believes her or he doesn't. She leaves, with Robert glaring angrily. As he moves off, Desiree appears with Jacques, having seen Robert and Anna together. Later at Robert's cottage, he gets a visit from Harrison Davis, who wants to talk about Casey Rogers disappearance from GH. It seem someone spotted Frisco helping him escape.

Meanwhile, Desiree reports to Faison that she saw Anna talking to Robert on the docks after her return from the island. Desiree thinks Anna is telling him everything. Later, Sean calls Faison. Faison informs him of Robert and Anna's little meeting. Sean had better hope that Anna isn't spilling the beans to Robert, otherwise their deal could be in jeopardy.

Frisco arrives at Anna's house and shows her his WSB card. He's back in. Anna reminds him he's risking his marriage. Frisco argues that it's better that risking Felicia's life -- he still doesn't know who kidnapped her or why. Frisco again accuses Anna of not being straight with her when she clams up about the man on the island. Anna tells Frisco he's going to have to trust her. Stay away from Spoon Island! A short time later, Robert pounds the door, furious, and yells for Anna to open up. Frisco and Casey as Anna lets him in. He knows what she's done -- she's harboring a fugitive! Not only that, she went to Spoon Island. What was she thinking? Anna gets rid of Robert before he searches the house. Afterwards, Anna gets an idea. She asks Frisco to take Casey up to the cabin. That will give them a chance to talk and Frisco can get all his questions answered. Frisco hates the idea. He's not going off by himself with that alien! Anna eventually talks him into it and he agrees.

Sean goes to see Anna, who confronts him about lying to her about Faison. Sean claims that he believed Faison was dead too, according to the WSB records. Anna recounts her entire conversation with him, and the fact that his new book is all about her past life as a double agent. They agree to keep Robert out of the loop for now.

Meanwhile, Frisco and Casey arrive at the cabin. Frisco is very crabby, ordering "Spock" to close the door, don't touch this, don't touch that, etc. He calls home and gets worried when Felicia does not answer. Later, Anna arrives. She has been to Frisco's apartment and found a note Felicia left for him. Frisco reads it and his face falls. Felicia has found out he's back in the WSB and left him.

DISC 3:   May 1 - May 11, 1990  4 hours

Frisco hides Casey at the cabin, Adventure on Spoon Island, Sean's deception comes to light, Anna goes on the run with Casey, Frisco spies on Wyndamire, The mystery of the porcelain dog.

At the cabin, Anna tries to convince Frisco to go after Felicia right away. Frisco shakes his head. He has to get to the bottom of this Lumina thing first, or else Felicia will not be safe. After Anna leaves, Frisco looks at Casey. Alright pal. The kid gloves are off. He wants to know what's up with this crystal and he wants to know NOW . . .

Anna arrives at GH to see Tom, but runs into Harrison, who questions her about Casey. Steve interferes and tells Harrison to leave Anna alone. Anna sees Tom and asks him to get Harrison to back off. She admits, however, that Harrison is right -- she and Frisco helped Casey escape. She tells Tom the whole story, but he has a hard time swallowing it. He does, however, agree to talk to Casey.

Anna calls Frisco. He tells her there is still no word from Felicia. Anna insists on coming up to the cabin to look after Casey so that Frisco can look for Felicia. Frisco tells her to forget it. They'll proceed with the plan. Casey gathers fire wood while Frisco calls Mariah again. Is Felicia there? Mariah lies and tells him she hasn't seen Felicia. When Frisco gets off the phone, he finds that Casey has taken off and runs to find him.

In the secret room, Sean researches a stolen Air Force file from 1977. Robert arrives and asks Sean about Anna. He wonders what she was doing out at Spoon Island the other day. Sean plays dumb, even when Robert specifically asks him what he's got going on at Wyndamire. Sean downplays everything and tells Robert that Anna is still upset over Duke, so give her some time. Sean has to leave the room to answer the doorbell. Robert jots down the file number on Sean's computer.

Frisco drags Casey back to the cabin, yelling at him for running off like that. Casey claims he felt the pull of the crystal and had to go. Frisco relents. Okay, he'll take him to spoon island. Casey smiles. Ride on! Next, they are in the car heading back to town. Frisco lays out the ground rules. He's the boss, understand? When they arrive at Spoon Island, they lurk in the bushes as Casey directs Frisco to where he "feels" the crystal. When they encounter Faison's guard dogs, Casey takes care of them by simply walking up to them and touching them, rendering them friendly puppies. They continue on, but Casey gets ahead of Frisco, and while running to catch up, Frisco gets caught in a net, which scoops him off the ground and hoists him ten feet in the air! Trapped, he is soon discovered by Faison's men.

Robin and Anna arrive at the cabin and find it empty. Unable to find Frisco and Casey, they return home, thinking that Frisco may have returned to PC. Harrison arrives at Anna's house and pushes his way in. He has put the pieces together regarding Casey Rogers. He knows why GH was unable to treat him: he's an alien! Anna acts like she thinks he's crazy, but Harrison knows she's covering and threatens to turn her in. Anna makes a deal with him to stall for time. She promises to produce Casey.

Caught in a net, Frisco tries to fast-talk his way out of a sticky situation with Faison's guards. Luckily, Casey shows up just in time, using his crystal as a spotlight to blind them. With help from Casey, Frisco overtakes the guards and they sneak up to Wyndamire together. They wait for Faison and Desiree (who are climbing all over each other) to leave the room. After that, they enter the den and locate Faison's half of the crystal. They are forced to hide when Jacques pops in for a moment. Afterwards, they grab Faison's crystal and high-tail it out of there, meeting up with Anna later at the docks with tall tales of their adventure. Casey is very proud of himself for having saved Frisco's life.

Meanwhile, Robert and Katherine arrive at the WSB headquarters in DC. Katherine leaves to wait for Robert while he meets with Ross under the pretense of wanting a tour for old times sake. When he gets a chance, he sneaks into the file room and finds the file Sean was researching is empty. Meanwhile, Sean is also in Washington DC. He meets with an art forger to make a replica of the Chinese dog from the Wellington Collection. He notices Katherine at the bar and sneaks out the back. Next, Sean meets with an old buddy from the WSB and talks about what happened thirteen years ago. He committed treason against his country. That is punishable by death!

At Wyndamire, Faison freaks out when he finds out his crystal is gone.

Robin is worrying at home, so she calls Robert for help, but is unable to contact him, so she leaves a message. Later, two men from the air force arrive at the door. She thinks Robert sent them, so she tells them how to get to the cabin. They will find Casey there. They must help him!

Meanwhile, Anna, Frisco and Casey return to the cabin. Anna tells them that they have a problem with Harrison Davis. He is out to find out what happened to Casey Rogers and he's about ready to go to Robert. In the meantime, the air force men tear apart Tom Hardy's office, seizing the files on Casey.

Robert and Katherine arrive at the Lavery house to see Robin. She tells Robert that she sent the air force men to the cabin to help Mom and Casey. Robert frowns. What air force men. Robin realizes Robert didn't send them and freaks out. She just made everything worse! Robert demands to know what's going on, so she tells him. Casey is an alien -- from Lumina. Robert and Katherine look at each other with wide eyes.

In DC, Sean goes back to the bar and joins some old WSB buddies. He finds out that Robert was at headquarters snooping around.

Faison raises hell with his guards and Desiree for letting his crystal get stolen. And find those two men!

At the cabin, Frisco, Anna and Casey are grabbing a bite to eat (Casey is eating his trademark apple). Casey comments that he is worried about the sacrifices Frisco and Anna are making for him. Tom Hardy calls. He warns them that Harrison called in the air force and they are on their way to the cabin. Just then, (while chomping on an apple) Casey tells them he hears "wind chopping -- it is very loud." It's the sound of helicopters approaching! Anna and Frisco cut the lights and take cover with Casey (who keeps on eating his apple). The house is quickly surrounded and a man with a blow horn orders them to surrender. Robert also arrives on the scene. The question is: is Robert with them or against them? Frisco tells Anna and Casey to go out the back way. He'll hold off the cops. Frisco steps outside and asks what all the fuss is about. Playing dumb seems to work for the air force men, but not for Robert. He demands to know what's going on. Frisco tells Robert about the man he spotted on Spoon Island, who likes those expensive hand-rolled cigars. Frisco wants to find out who this guy is and what he's after.

Robert goes to Harrison and tells him to back off. Not one to be thwarted, Harrison calls the PC Herald. In the meantime, Anna and Casey hide out in the woods and find a barn stay in for the night.

Sean arrives at Wyndamire at Faison's request. Faison accuses Sean of stealing the crystal and reminds him of the hold he has over him. He also knows that Lars (Sean's old WSB buddy) is still alive and that Sean never had him killed. A foolish move on his part!

At Robert's office, Frisco arrives with Ross, who's angry with him. Why are you holding out on us, Frisco? He shows Frisco a newspaper headline regarding Casey the alien. Later, Robert arrives, also angry -- but not with Frisco, with Harrison Davis. It seems he is the one leaking this story to the press. Robert dashes off after he receives word that Harrison has implicated Anna in this mess. Frisco goes to the Asian Quarter to visit Robin, who's staying with Olin's family. Later, Frisco arrives back at Robert's office, where Ross is waiting for him. Ross is still livid. What does Frisco know about this case? Why is Sean Donnelly so interested in it? Frisco tells Ross to get off his back. He's looking in the wrong place. He should be going after that kooky man on Spoon Island.

Meanwhile, Anna and Casey wake up in the barn. Anna goes off to get some breakfast for them, Casey's favorite -- apples! They get to talking, and Casey tells her there a pull between his head and his heart. He wants to go home, but he will miss her and Frisco and Robin -- they are his family on Earth. After dressing clothes stolen from a clothes line, they are forced to flee the barn when a farm hand shows up.

At GH, Robert confronts Harrison about talking to the press, then deals with a media frenzy out by the nurses station. In order to try to diffuse the situation, Robert holds a press conference, in which he attempts to squash the growing panic over Casey. Meanwhile, Anna and Casey watch the press conference from a TV store. Later, Anna calls Robert and tells him she is taking Casey to a safe house.

Frisco with Larry Ashton on the docks, who, in Pink Panther style, agrees to go out to Wyndamire and get some pictures of the man with the cigar. When Frisco tells Robert his plan, Robert retorts. The man's a congenital idiot! Frisco thinks this will make him the peferct spy. No one will suspect him. Later, Larry and Lucy arrive at Wyndamire for a tour. Jacques tries to get rid of them, but Larry insists on looking around. When no one is looking, he pulls out his camera.

Sean's forger comes through and he gets his fake porcelain dog. He installs a bug in it, then meets with Desiree to make the transaction. Robert arrives, and Sean steps out to speak to him. Robert confronts Sean about the Air Force file, and the secrets he's been sharing with Anna. Sean reminds him that he was involved in treason back in the day as well. Why doesn't he just lighten up and trust him? Robert tells him the stakes are too high and walks away. Afterwards, Sean completes his transaction with Desiree and listens in as she brings the dog back to Faison. Desiree asks why the dog is so special, but Faison won't tell her.

Larry returns to give Frisco the camera back. He claims he got some good pictures out at Wyndamire. Robert drops by for an update. Frisco tells him they have pictures, they just have to get them developed. Robert tells him not to mention any of this to Sean for the time being.

Ross arrives at Frisco's apartment with equipment to develop the pictures. Frisco demands answers. Why were his men in Texas looking for Felicia. Is she at the Houssienda? Ross wont answer him. He doesn't want Frisco running off looking for Felicia until his mission is complete.

Casey sees Anna is showering, so he begins to strip down and step into the shower to join her. She yells at him to stop right there (and keep his pants on). Afterwards, she tries to explain male/female relationships. People who aren't involved don't take showers together.

Sean drops by Frisco's apartment to chat. Frisco hides the fact that is developing photo's from Wyndamire.

Sean drops by Frisco's apartment to chat. Frisco hides the fact that is developing photo's from Wyndamire. He runs into the bathroom (which he is using as a darkroom) to quiet the alarm he set for the exposure. When he returns, he tells Sean that he's retiling the shower stall. They sit down for a beer together, and Sean advises Frisco not to trash his marriage for the WSB. Sean knows from first hand experience. Later, Anna calls Sean and implores him to keep Frisco and Robert from going to Spoon Island. Sean promises he will, but Anna hangs up before telling him where she is.

Frisco and Ross look at the pictures from Wyndamire. Unfortunately, there are no pictures of Faison. Meanwhile, Anna has a nightmare about Faison killing Robert and wakes up screaming.

In the morning, Casey walks in as Anna is combing her hair. Anna calls Robert and they talk about Robin. After she hangs up, Casey talks to Anna about the bonds between parent and child. He considers destroying the crystal so there will be no more danger for any of them. Anna tells him to stop talking that way. What about the people who care about him?

Tiffany walks into the secret room as Sean is wrapping up a phone call. She's worried that Sean is mixed up with the WSB again. Sean laughs at her. Afterwards, Sean drops by Frisco's apartment. Bobbie is there cleaning up. She's trying to get the chemical smell out of the bathroom, which Frisco was using as darkroom to develop pictures. Sean raises his eyebrows.

Casey and Anna go to a diner, but they are recognized and have to bolt.

DISC 4:   May 11 - May 28, 1990  4 hours

Return to Spoon Island, Faison assembles the crystal, blackout hits PC, Alien frenzy, Robert sees Faison, Sean and Frisco are shot by Desiree, Robin brings Casey the final peice of the crystal, Casey returns to Lumina.

Sean goes to Robert's office, where he finds the pictures from Spoon Island. He takes the ones that show Desiree holding the Wellington dog. Later, Robert and Frisco notice the pictures are missing.

Anna and Casey head to the catacombs. Anna realizes they left the WSB kit at the diner. They have no phone!

While hiding in the catacombs, Casey again considers destroying the crystal so that everyone can be safe, but Anna tells him to forget it. They want to help him -- that is more important to them than their own safety. Suddenly, Casey feels the pull of the crystal so strongly it knocks him off his feet. Someone has uncovered the crystal! Meanwhile, on Spoon Island, Faison's dig crew excavate the third part of the crystal.

Sean confronts Faison with the photos. What is he trying to pull? These photos connect him to the Wellington Collection! Faison denies having anything to do with it, and they both exchange threats. Later, Sean goes to visit Robin in the Asian quarter. While there, he drops one of the photos he stole.

Anna tries to go back to the diner to get the WSB kit, but the place is swarming with air force men, so she takes off.

When Sean returns home, he burns the rest of the photos. Tiffany walks in, smelling the smoke. Sean claims he's burning old credit cards. Tiffany reminds him they have a dinner date with Alan and Lucy, to which Sean balks. Robert and Frisco arrive as Tiffany leaves. They want answers. Who is this guy on the island and what does Sean have to do with him? They have made the connection between Desiree and the Wellington Collection. They think Sean the stole the photos, and they can't help but notice that the porcelain dog in the photos happens to be missing from his collection. Why is that? In order to shed their suspicion, Sean produces the porcelain dog. He has the missing piece, so whatever they thought they saw in the photos doesn't give them the right to accuse him of anything. They are supposed to be his friends! Robert and Frisco leave. Later, Sean has a daymare about he, Robert and Anna with nooses around their necks and Faison as the executioner. The charge against them is treason!

Sean listens to Faison via the bug he placed in the Wellington dog. He hears Faison talking to Jacques about finding all of the pieces of the crystal, but Sean still doesn't know what he's up to.

At the Quartermaine mansion, Sean and Tiffany appear for Lucy's party in honor of Tiffany. Everyone is talking about Casey the alien. Sean gets very interested when Harrison tells them how the GH lab was plagued a weird magnetic field that messed up all of the equipment. He tells Tiffany he must leave -- he has a business appointment. Tiffany is livid, but Sean kisses her and runs out. He goes to the lab the hospital with the Wellington dog and scans it with a machine. When he reaches the tail section, the machine sparks and shorts out, confirming his suspicion: there is something inside. Could it be part of Faison's crystal?

At Olin's house, Olin finds the picture of Desiree that Sean dropped and hangs it up on the wall, thinking it's one of her cousins.

At home, Sean asks Tiffany if she knows how to get into his safe. He has some very important papers in there and wants to make sure she can get to them if she has to. Tiffany gets alarmed. Is he in danger? Sean tells her it's nothing to worry about, he just wants to cover all his bases. Tiffany implores him to be careful. She would die if anything ever happened to him! Sean reassures her and tells her he's got it under control. Then he goes to shipping office where he stashes the Wellington dog in a locker. Later, Sean goes to visits Robin again but doesn't notice the picture of Desiree on the wall.

Casey and Anna make it to Spoon Island on a small blow up raft. Casey collapses as soon as they arrive. He's getting weaker all the time. Anna gives him the crystal to hold onto. Unfortunately Faison and his goons find them immediately. Anna pulls out her gun and tells the to stay away, but Faison plays host and invites them to come up to the house so that they can take care of ailing Casey. He gives them dry clothes and a cup of tea. What Anna really wants is the crystal so that Casey can get his strength back, but Faison isn't ready to hand it over just yet. He is determined to put all the pieces together and create the greatest source of power the world has ever seen! Anna tries to change his mind, but he hands her the phone and dares her to call Robert for help. Anna looks at Faison -- he's right. This is between them. She helps Casey to bed as Casey weakly tells them that if Faison tries to use the crystal it will annihilate the earth. Faison doesn't seem care.

Sean meets with Jacques and Desiree at the PC hotel, and is spotted by Frisco, who ups to them and asks to be introduced to Sean's two Asian friends. Before leaving, Sean slips Desiree a note to meet him a the docks later.

At Wyndamire, one of Faison's guards brings Anna a dress to wear at Faison's request. Disgusted, Anna marches downstairs (in her robe) to ask him what kind of fantasy he's trying to play out. Does the heroine in his book wear this dress? Faison shows Anna his latest book cover, which shows a woman who looks very much like her, and a large crystal. Faison tells Anna it is up to her whether Casey lives or dies. High on his power, Faison decides to assemble the three pieces of crystal that he has. Anna begs him not to, but he doesn't listen. As the pieces come together, there is a huge expanding light and they are both knocked to the floor.

A blackout hits Port Charles. Frisco attempts to restore order at the PC hotel, where everyone is in a panic thinking it's an alien invasion. Meanwhile at Wyndamire, Casey finds Faison and Anna unconscious on the floor. He holds Anna and tells her he will not let her die. Anna comes to, as does Faison. Anna talks Faison into allowing Casey to restore the power in PC. Afterwards, Anna explains to Faison why she needs to help Casey. He is kind, and he even though he claims Robin and Anna taught him about love, she feels that he taught them as well. Faison just wants Anna to love him. He asks her nicely if she will please wear the dress . . . If this is to be the end of them . . .

Returning to Casey, Anna tells him that she's going to do whatever Faison wants if he'll agree to let him use the crystal to go home. For now, that means wearing the silly dress. In the meantime, Robert arrives at Wyndamire and pulls a gun on Faison. Just then Anna comes down the stairs. Don't shoot, Robert!

Anna tells Robert that Faison is the only chance they have to help Casey. Bloody hell! Robert is not about to let Anna make a deal with Faison! When they are alone, Anna explains her plan to Robert. She just wants to help Casey go home. Casey enters and Robert meets him for the first time. Apparently Robert can see the allure of the gentle Casey, because he agrees to deal with Faison to help Casey.

Sean waits on the waterfront for Desiree. She eventually shows up. He tells her that Faison is using her just like he used him thirteen years ago. Desiree thinks Faison loves her. No, Sean says, he loves Anna. Jacques arrives and points a gun at Desiree (unseen by Sean), telling her it's time to go home.

The next morning at Wyndamire, Anna is worried because Casey seems to be weaker. Robert promises they'll help Casey, but first he wants to find out what Sean's involvement with Faison is. Their best friend has been talking to their worse enemy and he wants to know why.

Sean goes to see Faison. What is he still doing in Port Charles? They had a deal: the Wellington dog in exchange for a disappearing act. Faison claims he still has unfinished business. Sean threatens him and walks out. Afterwards, Robert comes to talk to Faison, who is eager to finalize their deal. They crystal in exchange for complete anonymity. While they are talking, Robert spots Sean's Wellington dog and confronts Faison with it. What does this dog have to do with this? Faison admits that the dog is the key to everything . . .

When Sean returns home, he finds someone in his secret room, but it's only the cleaning lady. He throws her out, then tries to listen in on his Wyndamire bug, but it's dead. Sean freaks out and yells at Tiffany and the maid. NO ONE is allowed in his secret room! EVER! He storms out. A short time later Frisco arrives and Tiffany tells him what happened. Intrigued, Frisco offers to take a look in the secret room, where he finds Faison's threatening messages to Sean.

Back at Wyndamire, Robert tells Anna and Casey about spotting Sean's Wellington dog in Faison's study. Casey wants Anna to tell him about when Faison put the three pieces of the crystal together. They figure out that there is a piece missing; probably a very small piece -- which is more than likely hidden inside the Wellington dog. The question is, does Faison know this? Faison's guards come to get them and they go downstairs, where Faison breaks open Sean's fake Wellington dog and finds no crystal inside. He starts freaking out. Donnelly double-crossed him! Robert spots Sean's bug.

Faison angrily orders Jacques to get the real dog from Sean, and not to tell Desiree anything about it because he doesn't trust her. Desiree hears this by listening in on the extension. She glares . . .

Sean returns home and makes up with Tiffany for yelling at her earlier. Then he gets his bug up and running and hears what's going on at Wyndamire, where Faison is irate. Robert tries to hide Sean's bug, but Faison finds it and destroys it. Anna implores Faison to help Casey. Meanwhile, Casey comes up with an inventive way to get help from Frisco.

Jacques ties up Desiree but she clocks him over the head and escapes.

Frisco visits Robin. While he's there, Tony calls from the Brownstone. A message was delivered for Frisco -- from a dove. It's from Robert, telling him that Sean has the Wellington dog. Bring it to Wyndamire right away! Frisco returns to the penthouse to confront Sean. He has lied for the last time! He needs that dog now. Robert, Casey and Anna are in trouble. Sean gives him the dog. Just as Frisco is about to leave, Robin arrives. She has found the picture of Desiree. Just then, Desiree arrives and grabs Robin, holding her at gunpoint. She wants the dog, now! Sean tries to talk her down but two shots ring out.

Both Sean and Frisco are shot. Sean is seriously injured. Desiree flees, with Frisco running after her. He loses her on the docks, then manages to stumble to the Brownstone. Tony and Bobbie rush him to GH. Meanwhile, Robin calls 911 for Sean and waits with him. She sees the forth piece of the crystal laying on the floor (it came out of the broken Wellington dog) and gives it to Sean to hold onto. He mumbles that she needs to get it Spoon Island. Tiffany is frantic when she arrives home and finds Sean on a stretcher as EMTs rush to save his life. In all the confusion, Robin slips away with the crystal.

Meanwhile at Wyndamire, Faison cracks out the Champaign to toast Casey's imminent return home. Guy Lewis radios to Robert to update him on the goings on. He passes on that Frisco was unable to get the Wellington dog. Faison freaks out when he learns Frisco was trying to get the dog. He accuses Anna of double-crossing him. Robin arrives with the crystal and gives it to Casey. Now he can go home!

At GH, Sean is wheeled into surgery while Tiffany falls apart. Katherine arrives to console her. Later, Tony comes out to say that Sean is alive, but not out of the woods yet.

Back and Wyndamire, Robin fills everyone in on what has happened (Sean and Frisco getting shot). Faison introduces himself to Robin as if he is hosting a cocktail party. He agrees to uphold his bargain and allow Casey to use the crystal to return home. Casey says goodbye to Anna, Robert and Robin. Very touching as Robin cries and tells him she loves him. Casey then asks everyone to go into the other room and shut the door. Then he activates the crystal to return to Lumina (awesome light show). Afterwards, Robert tells Faison to re-write his book -- but do it somewhere far away from Port Charles. The shows over! He leaves with Anna and Robin. Later, Faison tells his bodyguard that he's not ready to leave town just yet.

Anna and Robin return home and fill Olin in on what happened at Wyndamire. Everyone is just so happy to be home. Later, Anna sees the evening news and does a double take when she sees the new anchor man -- Shep Casey. He looks exactly like Casey!
